We offer a wide range of services for our visitors and strive to provide an excellent experience for everyone attending Shaqtoberfest.
Arrival & Parking
A limited amount of accessible parking is located on-site at the Queen Mary near the festival entrance for visitors who have a valid disabled plate or placard. Please ask a member of our staff for assistance at the main parking gates when you arrive and they will direct you to the accessible parking lot.
All parking at Shaqtoberfest is paid. Those in need of accessible parking must have a General Parking Pass. Purchase your general parking pass online now and save $5! Only one parking pass is needed per vehicle, regardless of the number of people in the vehicle.
We recommend purchasing parking in advance and arriving 15 to 30 minutes earlier than the entry time listed on your ticket to allow time for traffic and parking.
Additionally, there is a drop off / pick up zone located near the festival entrance. This zone is for active loading and unloading only. No cars or buses will be permitted to wait in this area.
Climate
Since most of the festival is not climate controlled, we recommend checking the forecast on the day of your visit to prepare appropriately for the weather. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toed shoes and high heels are strongly discouraged.
Terrain & Walking Surfaces
Shaqtoberfest has both indoor and outdoor spaces for guests to explore. The outdoor spaces are mostly blacktop, with occasional wood chipped areas. Inside the ship the floors are concrete. Due to the historic nature of the property, both inside and outside, terrain can occasionally be uneven. All haunted trails are accessible. Sections of the Engine Room Experience and the VIP Slam Dunk Lounge are not accessible due to the historic nature of the ship; however, our staff at the entrances to these experiences are available to assist guests will mobility disabilities with alternate experiences.
